Anxiety

 stress and anxiety hypnotherapy hypnosis
Most people at some point in their life will suffer from anxiety or stress.

Hypnosis can be extremely beneficial in treating stress panic attacks and anxiety, as can mindfulness meditation.

How many sessions will I need?

This will depend upon many factors, including whether there are other inter-related issues and your level of motivation. Generally speaking, roughly between 3-6 sessions can be required, but benefits can be experienced after just one or 2 sessions of hypnosis.

What I can offer:

  • Hypnosis helps you relax,
  • NLP techniques to enable you to access this relaxed state whenever you need to,
  • help to gain an understanding of the cause of your stress/anxiety and assess ways of tackling these,
  • change your reactions to your stressors utilising hypnotherapy,
  • if appropriate, address the cause and maintenance of the anxiety using hypnotherapy e.g. bottled up emotions, over-sensitivity to internal sensations,
  • breathing techniques and progressive relaxation, which reduce the symptoms of stress and anxiety and gain control in stressful situations,
  • an information sheet about panic attacks if relevant, which includes information about how to deal with panic attacks if they occur and how to stop them happening in the future.
