Monthly mindfulness and relaxation group
Would you like to enjoy a relaxing hour of mindful meditation and other guided practices? Many people experience anxiety, stress and low mood or are just in need of nourishing themselves with relaxation.
These monthly classes will form an amalgamation of different practices that help you to remain grounded and calm in this ever changing world around us. As a mindfulness teacher and hypnotherapist, with a psychology background, I will weave a bit of everything into these classes to leave you feeling positive and refreshed. If you've already attended an 8 week mindfulness course with me, these classes will also offer you the opportunity of getting together with others and practising some mindfulness. |
the benefits of mindfulnessWho is this class for?
Anyone who would like to come along and relax for an hour. Each session will be different and will include any of the following: mindfulness meditation, guided meditation, mindful movement, relaxation techniques, hypnotherapy relaxation. No prior experience is required. When: Classes run the 2nd Monday evening of every month and you can book for a one-off session, or book for a 4 months upfront and save money. What to expect:
This will be a very relaxed group. Chairs will be provided, as will blankets and mats, so all you need to bring is yourself, and perhaps a bottle of water. Please come prepared for the possibility of some gentle movement exercise, or lying on the floor on mats (though if people prefer to sit on a chair, that is fine). You're welcome to bring your own yoga mat if you prefer. Booking is essential. At booking, there are a few questions about what you would like to get out of the classes, and I will do my best to gear it towards what people choose. Whilst there is no formal teaching, (it is guided practices), I may also give out information sheets on issues such as coping with anxiety and tips on better sleep etc. |
